Chapter 1 of 2011

New Years

So Christmas is officially over. :-( On a good note, New Years is just around the corner! Bad note, time is flying way to fast. I wish time would just slow down a bit. I've been stressing about school a lot lately. The plan is to major in Biology then to apply for dental school. ugh. I am a junior now and I'm not sure how I will be able to graduate in 2012. I still have so much to do. Organic chemistry will definitely be the class that stresses me out the most because I have to graduate with a 3.78 GPA. I'm sure this is a common stress with so many college students as well. I can't wait till I look back and be thankful that I put myself through this stressful period. We will see what happens starting this new year. I leave for NYC on Thursday. I'm so excited!!!

Ho! Ho! Ho!

Christmas Time!

I have finally finished finals! Hooray! Now it's time to celebrate with a little vino(little may be an understatement). This Holiday season is in full swing. Christmas is most definitely my favorite season. I get excited every year to put up the Christmas tree and to see all of the beautiful lights. This will officially be my second Christmas, since I was 17, that I will be single. It feels good to be independent, but then again I curse the happy couple next to me at the grocery for being so damn happy. Last Christmas, the thought of finding that special person would not have crossed my mind. I was still going through the grieving process, but now that it's been more then a year I think I'm ready. We'll see what happens. 

On another note, my sister, my mom and I will be spending New Years Eve and day in NYC! I love NYC. I've been there one other time when I was 18. It's always been the place where I see myself living when I'm older. It will be good to be there again. I hope all of you enjoy your Holiday season!
